Multitude
04-06-25 to 30-09-25
Norman Long first exhibited with Gavagan Art in August 2024, in an exhibition called ‘Summer Observations’.
Norman’s new exhibition: Multitude will be on display at Low Wood Bay, Windermere, Cumbria, between June – September 2026. These new paintings include a number of large figurative compositions and smaller observational studies. These studies of individuals often capture the relationship between people in public spaces, at the beach, in a crowd or in a townscape setting
Sculptural Ceramics – Exhibited in the large display case next to Norman’s exhibition is a display of work by the North Wales based ceramicist Wendy Lawrence. Wendy is originally from Clitheroe, Lancashire, but moved to North Wales in 1999. She has worked steadily in her studio in Denbigh for over twenty-five years and has participated at many clay events, demonstrations and symposiums. These range from The International Ceramic Festival in Aberystwyth, Clay Art in Wales, Scottish Potters Association and many events throughout the UK and beyond.
