Terry Beard

Terry was born in Canada and spent her childhood in Uganda and Ireland, and then studied Textile Design, achieving an M.A. in Printed Textiles.

‘My work is an intuitive response to the natural and built environment, evocative of landscape, water and woodland. I am particularly influenced by the Huntingdonshire Fens which surround my home and studio. This is an area of flat farmland intersected by drains and ditches, with areas of dense woodland.’
