Jacquie Denby b.1939, studied at Harrogate School of Art and Jacob Kramer College, Leeds. She lives and works in Grassington, Upper Wharfdale, Yorkshire.

Her work moves between the figurative and abstract, and is usually inspired by her constant attention to the landscape she sees daily.

There have been many solo exhibitions of her work, and both her paintings and drawings have been included in numerous group exhibitions both in the U.K. and abroad.

Jacquie has had a long association with Gavagan Art.
