The Luneside Studios in Lancaster provides space for visual artists working in various media. The studios are celebrating their 30th anniversary this year.

The studios were originally sited in an old warehouse on the quayside on the banks of the River Lune in Lancaster, near the Maritime Museum.

With the redevelopment of the quay the studios moved into premises close to Lancaster's historic castle area.

Mary Gavagan (Gavagan Art) based at the Linton Court Gallery in Settle who has organised this exhibition has known many of the artists for a number of years, having exhibited their work previously in exhibitions at Lancaster University.

The exhibition brings together in one show a range of styles and artistic interests.

The artists exhibiting in this exhibition include: John Baldwin, Sid Barlow, Ian Hastings, Emma Hunter, Nik Ingham, Glyn Jones, Pol Marshall, Simon Nixon, Iain Sloan, Norman Trewhitt, Neil Wilson, Cathy Wilson, Debbie Yare.
