Statement:
I have always been drawn to the Landscape in my work, I see it as a direct response to a subject matter that is constantly throwing up new challenges and visual surprises that make me to want to make more paintings of a thing that is in a constant state of flux. Although my work tackles many topics and themes, it is the Landscape that I to come back to. The visceral emotions that are felt in viewing such beautiful scenes are almost the one thing that keeps me on a path of making paintings of this grand and inspiring subject.
